WhiteLight Consulting were delighted, once again, to be invited to judge the Fingal Student Enterprise Awards.
The overall purpose of the Student Enterprise Programme is to teach young people the crucial skills that they might need in the future for running a business. Whether you plan to work for yourself or someone else, business and entrepreneurial skills will always be valuable.
Young people learn about market research, identifying market opportunities, assessing risk and competitors, product development and testings, team work and communications, sourcing materials and costings, presentation and packaging, conventional and social media marketing and most importantly SELLING!
The Student Enterprise Programme in Fingal is the largest in the country with over 2,600 students taking part across 24 schools. The National School Programme runs in parallel and gives the secondary school students a great run for their money.
The winners for 2015 were Holly’s Pet Patisserie (Senior Category), Book Snaps (Intermediate) and LOK (Junior). These super young entrepreneurs will go on to represent Fingal at the Nationa Student Enterprise Awards in Croke Park on April 26th.
Well done one and all!
