Local Enterprise Week Louth culminated last night with the #Believe event hosted by broadcaster and media consultant Anton Savage.
Cathaoirleach of Louth County Council Cllr. Paul Bell kicked off the evening by announcing the winners of the National Enterprise Awards for Louth:
- Bronagh Conlon, Listoke Distillery
- Georgina McKenna, Count Her In
- Mark Reilly, Aphix Software
Mark will advance to the National Enterprise Awards finals at The Mansion House on May 25th representing County Louth.
After the presentation of awards, Anton took a seat on stage and invited our two guest speakers Niamh Sherwin Barry and Oisin Barry to join him on stage. This wonderful “in conversation” session with husband and wife team Niamh and Oisin delved into the story of how The Irish Fairy Door Company came into being. They talked about the challenges they had faced with growth, finances, skills and the excitement of building a business that accelerated and grew so quickly. Magic may (or may not) be real but either way, the #Believe story certainly blew the audience away.
