It’s that time of year again … time to celebrate and promote entrepreneurship in County Louth. Local Enterprise Week 2017 kicked off this morning in Louth with lots of bright ideas at the Ideas Development workshop at The Mill Enterprise Hub. Cathaoirleach of Louth County Council Cllr. Paul Bell joined Thomas McEvoy, Local Enterprise Office Louth and Anne Caldwell of Enterprise Ireland to formally kick off the event.
Watch out for loads of brilliant business events throughout the week including:
- Retail workshops in Ardee, Dundalk and Drogheda,
- Networking events with Drogheda and Dundalk Chambers,
- Cyber Security with PwC,
- International Women’s Day celebration with Network Louth,
- EURES Cross Border Employment & Supports Seminar,
- E-Payments with Creative Spark, The Mill and Paypal.
The highlight of the week is the #Believe event hosted by Anton Savage of The Communications Clinic. Guest speakers are Niamh Sherwin Barry and Oisin Barry of The Irish Fairy Door Company who will talk about their amazing entrepreneurial journey. The event will also feature the announcement of the National Enterprise Award winners for Louth. This event will take place on Thursday 9th March at the County Museum, Dundalk and attendance is free of charge …. as long as you #Believe.
