We’re still buzzing with excitement after the National Enterprise Awards last night.
This gala black tie event should have happened back in May, a celebration of Ireland’s Micro-enterprises. While we couldn’t be together in person, the event was still a huge celebration of Irelands incredible entrepreneurs.
Hosted the 31 Local Enterprise Offices, supported by Enterprise Ireland and the Dept. of Enterprise Trade and Employment, this event is showcases innovation, agility and ingenuity.
The Round Room at The Mansion House was an amazing location for this online event. The preparation and attention to detail from the CAVS team was superb. We were joined by Minister Damien English and Head of the Network of Local Enterprise Offices Oisín Geoghegan to present the awards. And our MC Noel Davidson did a fabulous job in making it a really personal and engaging experience.
One of the things that still fascinates us about online events … they may not be in person but that doesn’t mean that they are impersonal. The real life reactions from finalists and winners was just a joy to behold.
Congratulations to all of the finalists and to Ciaran Gorman and Darren Fenton of Bevcraft for being named as National Enterprise Award winners … a very well deserved win!
Thank you to Breda Fox and the National Enterprise Awards team for putting their faith in us to deliver this virtual ceremony in these strange times.
