Showcasing Superstars

As Project Managers for The National Lottery Good Causes Awards 2018, we have been very privileged to meet amazing community volunteers from around the country who are finalists in the competition.

Neary €0.30 in every Euro spent on a National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes across the country. That’s €625,000 per day or €225m per year helping groups in the Health, Arts, Sports, Heritage, Youth and Community sectors to improve the lives of people around them. The awards ceremony seeks to celebrate and showcase the work that these groups are doing and to help the players understand the impact of playing a National Lottery game.

Every day this week the finalists are being showcased on Ireland AM on Virgin Media One. If you missed the first of our finalists (Backstage Theatre, The National Circus Festival and Waterford Healing Arts Trust) you can catch up on their stories here:

Showcasing Superstars! As Project Managers for The National Lottery #GoodCausesAward we have had the pleasure of meeting amazing people from across the country making an incredible impact on their community using Good Causes funds. The National Final of the Good Causes Awards takes place next Saturday but here are just three of our finalists in the Arts and Culture category. Hope you'll tune in to Virgin Media One on 11th November at 9.00pm (after X Factor) to find out who the winners will be!

These are just three of the 36 incredible finalists. Each of them have used their #GoodCauses funding to positively impact their community in many diverse and innovative ways. Good luck to all of the #GoodCausesAwards finalists taking part next weekend. They are all heroes to us and we look forward to showcasing their achievements on the night and on on the National Lottery Good Causes Awards TV Show on Virgin Media One on Sunday 11th November (right after The X-Factor Results Show).
