WhiteLight Consulting were busy helping the Local Enterprise Office Fingal to showcase and celebrate youth entrepreneurship today with the Fingal Student Enterprise Awards.

The capital’s youngest entrepreneurs were exhibiting at the Fingal Student Enterprise Awards at the Crowne Plaza in Blanchardstown today. In all, a record 65 student enterprises from 22 secondary schools and seven primary schools took centre stage at the County Final, which is supported by Fingal County Council and the Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education and Training Board.
Since last September, 2,500 local students have been researching and running their own businesses in the Student Enterprise Programme, making it the largest programme in the country. The secondary school winners from today’s County Final will now represent Fingal at the Student Enterprise Awards National Final in Croke Park on April 20th.
The Fingal Student Enterprise Awards is also supported by the Blanchardstown Centre, One4All, Xtreme.ie and Simtech Aviation (www.localenterprise.ie/Fingal).
Senior category winner, Niamh Corry from Loreto Balbriggan, will go on to represent Fingal in the National Student Enterprise Awards Final in Croke Park on the 20th April 2016 with her business ‘Skimitquick’.
